Back to Linux Mint?
This might be good news.
Although I am not a wayland-fanboy, fractional scaling on my 32" 4k moni is a MUST for me. Alongside with perfect font-rendering. My eyes do not allow me anymore to be generous after seven operations in six years.
So IF Cinnamon is now working properly on wayland and IF scaling also works well, I might go back from EndeavourOS (Plasma) to Mint. Because it is a fantastic distro, does not get in your way, solid as a rock, just gets the job done easily, and I always loved it. LM does a lot of things right. As it should. It is what Pure Blog is for CMS.
I do not mind working with rolling distros - as I am right now -, but of course anything LTS has obvious advantages as well.
But there is no need to hurry.
Talking about font-rendering. I found a solution for QT apps not looking good running on Mint (any XFCE-based DE, I think) and shared it here. I don't think anybody else came up with this before. :-)
